Okkkkk Sooooo it had been forever…and I mean foreverrrrrrr since I had been to an actual movie! I'm usually to busy, or struggle with the decision of trying to choose between something dramatic, scary, or sad.(*I usually only do funny movies…*headroll fingasnap) My bestie was finally able to pull me out of my work zone and treated me to a movie. Not just any movie... more like the funniest, most hilarious movie I've seen in years!!! After being "movie late", (ya now…the ol…there's 15 mins of previews so you have time to be late…late), and after bum rushing the concession stand (1 large popcorn, extra extra extra butter, and 1 medium mixed slurpy…ok ok..I'll upgrade it to a large for 1$) we hurried into the movie thinking we had missed something. We were happy to find that the opening credits just started rolling. No lie…soon as DADDY'S HOME started it was funny right out of the gate!!!! It didn't stop there!!! The movie was non-stop hilarious! I was trying to keep my cool and not laugh out loud "LOL", because I didn't want to disrupt the other movie goers experience. That nice polite gesture quickly went out the door, I couldn't stop laughing!!! Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are friggin hilarious! The movie had an actual storyline, it had sympathetic parts, and meaning, but most of all…IT WAS FUNNY! The whole theater was literally falling over on each other, laughing loud, and I'm pretty sure there was popcorn all over the floor from us accidentally shaking our bags while bending over laughing! I won't spoil the movie for you, but I will say…my face hurt for hours after laughing so hard! Later that night I was feeling like I had did hella sit-ups, and I couldn't figure out why my abdomen felt tight. Then I remembered that I had been laughing for more than an hour straight! Make time to see this awesome movie! DADDY's HOME is mos def a comical genius of a movie, and will be nothing short of a comedy classic!!! XOXO
