Okkkkkkk Soooooo when YUNG BROLY hit me up via Twitter aka *1 of the fastest most bestis social media connections around the WORLD…*headroll fingasnap…I kinda sent a dry tweet back. Noooo it wasn't because I wasn't interested, but maybe it more so because I was bored. I was bored with listening to music, and I was irritated watching damn reality tv…thinking…"this is sooooo not real". YUNG BROLY popped up in my timeline shortly after our 1st tweet encounter, simply saying "thank you I just sent it off hope to hear from you soon". Then BOOM…he was gone. There were no "yoooooo check out dis fire I got", or no "mannnnn dis dat sh"t dat will make you "turn up"". I'm not saying that I enjoy accelerated confidence, but that's how most people attempt to grab my attention. Later on I found myself working my thumb, scrolling thru my notifications , and finally decide to check out who this humbly, straight to the point, almost social media gentlemen YUNG BROLY was. Curiosity got the best of me and I clicked the link to "F*CK YOU" produced by UNKKKNWM..
WHOA!!!!!!!!!!! Yup….thats the 1st thing I said from the the very 1st close up! The colors are so vibrant and aggressive! The intro alone automatically kinda makes you wanna settle into a cool posture, like when your at a club, or chillin outside, or even riding in the whip leaned back …just cruising. YUNG BROLY sits alone in his video, yet "F*CK YOU" climaxes quickly and you find yourself waiting for a group of dudes to finally bum rush the video (*typical) and steal the scenes. Yet that never happens, which makes the visual even more DOPE! O.P.P PRODUCTION effortlessly combined simple visual techniques with artsy, gritty side effects and contrast. YUNG BROLY humbly commands our attention with his 4 minutes of catchy metaphors, and his original bold fashion statement. Let's face it, not everyone can pull off a Pokemon hat, joggers, and a half smoked mild….but YUNG BROLY did. *Maybe it's a Shaker thing (GO RAIDERS).
